Geoff Tate Announces Operation Mindcrime The Final Chapter Tour 2026

Progressive metal icon Geoff Tate launches the final leg of his Operation Mindcrime The Final Chapter Tour, performing the 1988 album Operation: Mindcrime in full for the last time. The 2026 run features an enhanced production with strings and a laser show, making this farewell staging especially meaningful for fans.

The US leg begins January 27 in Savannah, with stops in Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Clearwater, Orlando, Charleston, Atlanta, Birmingham, New Orleans, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque, Grand Junction, and Denver. A spring return includes a May 8 show in Saint Charles, IL. International dates in Cyprus, Greece, and Bulgaria follow later in the year.

About Geoff Tate

Geoff Tate (born January 14, 1959, Stuttgart, Germany; raised in Tacoma, Washington) is an acclaimed singer-songwriter in heavy, progressive and alternative metal. He rose to fame as frontman of Queensrÿche, known for hits like “Silent Lucidity,” “Empire,” “Eyes of a Stranger,” and “I Don’t Believe in Love.” Since 2020 he’s released SWEET OBLIVION’s album “Relentless” and is working toward “Operation: Mindcrime III.” He’s won awards for his powerful vocals and is well-known for his dramatic storytelling style, soaring tenor voice, concept albums and operatic performance flair.
